Kelly Blackaby

Kelly Blackaby MCIPD (Member in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) is a British HR professional with over 20 years’ generalist and global experience. Having worked in the Middle East for over 10 years, with key organisations in Saudi Arabia, including Fawaz A Alhokair & Co. (SJSC) and Majd Alaamal Group. She combines her extensive background in senior Human Resource Management and Organisational Development with on-the-job experience applying Agile HR mindset, methodology and best practice across a wide range of industries such as Retail, Leisure, Real Estate & Construction, Public Sector and the Charity Sector. Prior to working in the Middle East, Kelly undertook many diverse HR roles in private and public sector organisations such as The Body Shop International PLC and the Police Force.
Kelly’s speciality is exploring ways to organise the HR function to be agile and modern and, through a respectful change management approach, engaging employees into participating and getting things done together. She enjoys working with organizations and teams to help facilitate cultural shifts where human is at the heart. Kelly achieved a distinction award for Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD. She is a key member of the board of trustees for an international humanitarian aid charity.
As one of the first women in her sector to work in Saudi Arabia, Kelly also specialises in female workforce development and supporting newly promoted female leaders who are in transition to new management roles.
